Here at Storm Equestrian we believe in ensuring that everyone has the opportunity to enjoy horses. We have multiple different lesson packages to choose from so that you can pick what works best for you. Due to Mary's schedule, she is only available in the evenings and on Sunday's. Erica, Mary's assistant, has a wider range of available times and has begun giving beginner lessons with some guidance.

Starter Session

Time - 40 Minutes
Fee - $20
Our beginner sessions are geared more towards young kids but all ages are welcome! We will focus on basic horsemanship including grooming, tacking the horse, leading and beginning riding. The time is shorter to be more geared towards shorter attention spans.
Hour Lesson

Fee - $30
Our regular lessons are for ages five and up. For beginners with no experience, we will start from the beginning. For anyone looking to advance their skills, we can go in any direction they would like.
Group Lesson

Time - 1 Hour
Fee - $20 per person
Group lessons are geared towards multiple people looking to improve their riding skills. Since the instructor won't be able to focus all their time on one person, the lesson cost is lower to reflect that.
To be eligible for a group lesson, the riders must have attended at least one hour lesson and prove that they can walk, trot and stop the horse on their own.

We have a few horses available for a partial onsite lease to our students so that they can learn more about horsemanship and what caring for horses is all about! This is a great option for people getting into horses but wanting to get some more experience before buying their first horse.
This includes:
Weekly Lesson on a set day of the week with the lease horse
Option to take the horse to shows and trails under the guidance of Mary (show fees and expenses not included)
